Oro Coffee & Chocolate: website redesign

Project: UXD 101 class assignment

Role: Designer/Student

Objective: Choose an existing Chicago small business to redesign perform all necessary usability testing for a new and improved website to further represent their brand.

Process:

  1. Researched well developed coffee sites and discovered what the original website was lacking and would benefit from

  2. Began user testing of the original website

  3. Developed a Journey Map that visualized the stages of my user testing

  4. Developed my hypothesis: Users are likely to abandon the e-commerce website if the website is unclear, poorly designed and takes extensive navigation.

  5. Started low fidelity wire frames and sketches

  6. Moved into Figma to create a design system and higher fidelity wireframes

  7. Once the outline was finished, I fully rendered the interfaces and ran all screens through proto-type mode in Figma
